Integrative Medicine
Integrative medicine is a model of care that combines modern medical science with complementary therapies to support the whole person. At Lumen Integrative Health, we look beyond symptom management to understand underlying drivers of disease. This may include metabolic dysfunction, hormone imbalance, thyroid disorders, nutrient deficiencies, chronic inflammation, or cardiovascular risk factors.
Advanced Diagnostic Evaluation
Functional medicine testing is typically not covered by insurance and is billed separately from membership.

Testing is ordered thoughtfully, not excessively.
When clinically appropriate, testing may include:
-
Micronutrient panels
-
Advanced metabolic labs
-
Comprehensive hormone panels
-
Thyroid assessment
-
Advanced lipid testing
-
MTHFR genetic testing
-
Additional targeted functional diagnostics

These tests are used intentionally, not routinely, to identify root causes and guide a personalized, evidence-informed treatment plan within your Direct Primary Care relationship.
Integrative care may be helpful for:
-
Persistent fatigue
-
Brain fog
-
Hormone imbalance
-
Unexplained or complex symptoms
-
Metabolic dysfunction and insulin resistance
-
Cardiovascular risk assessment
-
Nutrient deficiencies
Testing is never a replacement for foundational care, but one tool used thoughtfully to inform prevention, restoration, and long-term health.
